Estes Park
Joel Estes was a rancher and one of the first
settlers in this "level valley between mountain ranges," and, of course,
gave the town it's name, Estes Park. It wasn't long before ranching gave
way to tourism and Estes Park soon became the premier mountain destination
resort in Colorado.
First time visitors and long time residents
are always in awe of the snow-covered peaks of Rocky
Mountain National Park. Their presence becomes part of your soul.
But Estes Park is more than grand scenery.
There is a town full of great people who take pleasure in providing you
with fine dining, outdoor recreation, amusements, art galleries, shopping,
cultural arts, and entertainment.
